From Denizli to Laodicea
It’s 19 km (12 miles) to travel between Denizli and Laodicea, a drive of 20 minutes.
– By bus: In the city of Denizli it’s important to be aware that there is a main bus station called Denizli Otogar. You can take a minibus (also called dolmus in Turkish) from this Denizli Otogar to Laodicea. They run approximately every 20 minutes and cost one way about 4 YTL (€1,80 or $2,30). The bus drive will take about 20 minutes.
The minubusses ussualy have seats for about 20 people, so be aware that it can be crowded.

– By taxi: You can also take a cab to Laodicea. This will however cost you a lot more. The price will be about 40 to 50 YTL (€18,- or $23,-).
From Pamukkale to Laodicea
It’s 13 km (8 miles) to travel between Pamukkale and Laodicea, a drive of 16 minutes. There aren’t direct busses available.
– By minibus: The minibus from Pamukkale to Denizli runs approximately every 20 minutes and cost one way about 4 YTL (€1,80 or $2,30). The bus drive will take about 20 minutes. You need to tell the bus driver that you want to go to “Laodikeia / Laodikya”. After the drop-off, you need to walk 5 minutes to the entrance of Laodicea.
– By taxi: This will cost you about 20 YTL (€9,- or $12,-) and will take 15 minutes.
From Istanbul to Laodicea
It’s 657 km (408 miles) to travel between Istanbul and Laodicea, a drive of 9 hours. There are direct flights and busses available.
– By plane: it will cost about €100,- ($130,-) for the two-way ticket with Turkish Airlines to Denizli Cardak Airport. The flight takes one hour.
From the airport of Denizli Cardak you can take the bus to the busstation of Denizli called Otogar Denizli. This will cost you about €20,- ($26,-). From the Denizli Otogar you can take the minibus described here above for about €4,- ($5,20). All the prices are in two way calculated. So in total it would be around €130,- ($170,-).

From Cappadocia to Laodicea
It’s 611 km (379 miles) to travel between Cappadocia and Laodicea, a drive of 9 hours. There are no direct flights or trains, so you’ll probably go by bus or car.
– By Bus: You may find a direct bus all the way from Nevşehir (Cappadocia) to Denizli (for Laodicea) or vice-versa, but it’s also possible you’ll have to change buses in Konya—not a big problem, but it adds some time to your trip.
If you plan to spend a night in Konya or Laodicea along the way, you may have direct buses for both segments of your journey (that is, Laodicea to Konya, and Konya to Cappadocia).
